Hidden in the coulees of western Wisconsin, 30 minutes south of Eau Claire, is where you will find Homespun Hideaway.

We were first introduced to the Argentine llamas while attending a Llama Show in Lake Elmo, Minnesota.  These unique animals caught our attention with their distinctive faces, heavy bone, and wonderful fiber coverage.

Needless to say we would be memorized by these spectacular creatures and discover a magnificent lifestyle transformation.

The Homespun Hideaway Argentine program began five years ago when we purchased Argentine Lola, a direct import from Argentina. Lola looked like a grizzly bear ambling down the river bed, her coat so dense and full.  When she lifted her head she looked at us with such a serene look, but with a smile, which we've found is part of her character.

Over the past couple of years we have carefully selected a collection of extreme Argentine Llamas, that consists of the largest bone, fiber coverage, and size we could find.

Homespun Hideaway (HSH) has dedicated to preserve the rarest of gems, the Argentine Llama. With 10+ years of experience raising llamas, it is time for the next phase in our breeding program. HSH is in search of producing the finest collection of Pure Blooded Argentine Llamas in the World.

HSH is a founding member of the Argentine Llama Aficionados (ALA). We have committed to be one of the leading members of the ALA and look forward to seeing the next chapter of the ALA develop and will assist them in the many years to come.
